Raindrops keep falling

Raindrops on my umbrella

It has been quite mixed weather in Oslo today. It rained in the morning, then we had a few hours with beautiful sunshine. Then some thunder and lightning with heavy rain. And now the sun shines again. Kind of weird.
On my way to work I took a few pictures of my umbrella using my Canon G9 camera. I converted them to grayscale and then to duotone with a dark blue colour. There is another picture here.

Changing weather in Oslo

Mørke skyer over Oslo rådhus This picture was taken last Saturday in Oslo. We had been shopping and I (as usually) brought my camera. I hadn’t taken any pictures all day, but as we walked towards the railway station from Aker Brygge we noticed the weather changing on us. So far the day had been sunny and nice. Now the skies were building up behind Oslo Rådhus. The sun is still shining on us, but you can tell it won’t be for long.

Dublin visited

So, I am back at work after a weekend visit to the green island, Ireland. I’ve never been to Ireland before. There is one thing that comes to mind about Dublin – the weather. I am from the west-coast of Norway. I am used to shifty weather, but … Ireland. If I try to describe Ireland in just a few words: The first word that would come to mind would be… windy… and that would also be the second and third word I think. Except for that, compared to Oslo right now? Dublin has a relative mild climate; we even saw the sun a few times, between the rain showers and the windblown skies. The trees had already started to grow new leaves. The grass was green. Nice spring weather actually. A few pictures will probably be available here shortly.
