Wildlife in Norwegian woods

As you could read in my last blog post I visited Flatanger earlier this month. We had a great weekend, but the first day it was a bit windy in the morning so we started off our photo-safari with some small wildlife in the woods.

In Norway there are several large animals living in the woods, but they tend to be very shy and hard to photograph. That’s why we only got photos of squirrels and birds. It is possible to get photos of larger animals as well, but that requires a lot more attention to details and a bit more preparation.

So here you are, some birds and squirrels for your viewing pleasure.

Also check out hwfoto.net, a friend of mine took some photos too. He sat next to me so some of them might be very similar.

I had several attempts to get the squirrel in the air like this but few were sharp.
