Another photo excursion arranged by Oslo Kamera Klubb has increased the number of photos in my archive yet again. On this trip we travelled to one of the islets in the Oslo fjord. There is a ferry service that can take you to several small islands just a few minutes from the Oslo harbour. We visited the islet called Gressholmen. This island used to be the airport for Oslo before and under World War II, but only for seaplanes. Some of the buildings below are remnants of this past. There is a nature reserve on the island, and you might find several birds wading around near this reserve. I did not bring my bird photography equipment, so below are a few macro photos and me goofing around with the landscape and the old buildings.
