Kind of full

One of the most interesting things with a camera, for me, is the possibility to see what is difficult to see normally. To be able to observe the details that are hidden to the naked eye. Either by using telephoto lenses or macro lenses we may be able to see either nature or other things in our daily life in more detail.

Earlier this summer I got myself a 150-500 mm telephoto lens. A little while ago I tested a 1.4x teleconverter on that lens. In essence I got myself a 700 mm lens on my Canon 5D mark III. One of my first pictures was this photo of the (nearly) full moon. I have cropped the picture to only show the moon to get to this image. I have found that you get a lot more details on the moon when you are slightly before or past full moon. The shadows make the craters and terrain a lot more visible. Notice the lower left part of the moon.
